Overview
There are 20 members in this research area, four of whom are new to the DRTC and
three of whom are recently appointed faculty. In 2005-2006 these DRTC investigators were involved
in conducting 60 investigator-initiated diabetes-related clinical research protocols on the WU GCRC.
Among the 20 investigators in this area, the 14 with a primary focus on Clinical Research will be
highlighted, along with other investigators with a major effort in clinical and translational
research. Those with a primary focus in Complications or Prevention and Control will be discussed
in those sections.
